There are many hidden beauty spots in and around Llantwit Major. We are situated within a half an hour car journey from Cardiff and Caerphilly, providing historic castles, museums and other places of interest, as well as many other scenic and historic towns and villages. Not far from the town is The National Museum of Welsh History, Amelea Trust Farm and several beaches including Ogmore, which hosts Ogmore Castle and the locally famous "stepping stones".
